Don’t we all want what is justifiable and good? Do the judgments we make not seek to place us in a condition that is more sustainable and rewarding? Why do we seek to find holiness or perfection in those things that are evil and defiant? An attempt to justify what is evil is the action of a fool. Where in society do we gain by greed and selfish ambition? True profit excludes no one and is passionately defensive about the rights and feelings of others. Giving to meet the needs of the wounded and the poor can never impoverish the lives of those that share. True sacrifice is a way of gaining joy and inner peace; it will never leave its perpetrator feeling unfulfilled and cheated. As we physically develop in this life we must also strive to develop spiritually, mentally and intellectually. To allow ourselves to grow physically and to not gain mental or spiritual maturity or to become more intellectually mature is entirely destructive. Recently when thinking about God and how much He truly loves us, I considered how He has sacrificed to give us the many treasures of His magnificent Heaven.
