This one thing I have found difficult to understand or accept. We live under this organization that is known as a society or social order. Everything that we do is determined by this association or union and to doubt its authority is deemed as suicidal. Fashion, styles, what we are to eat and what we are to wear are all determined and fixed by this association or social order. In the past, society has been somewhat limited or at least been under the scrutiny of those that are considered conventional, those who have been called old-fashioned. Many of the past beliefs of society were gained by the influence of the church and too many were considered restrictive and unacceptable. There have always been those that refuse to conform, but what concerns me most is the fact that we as a people have been more willing to listen to those that are non-conformist than we have those that are to be considered wise. To consider the actions of the fool-hearty as righteous and to follow their way of life as rewarding is to me somewhat imprudent. Society today is governed by the selfish actions of the avaricious and is none other than and association of Satan. All the problems and difficulties of life are brought about by sin. To follow those that have no understanding or conscience is indeed foolish. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:17).
Society today makes all the rules and to question its judgment is not tolerated. How is it that an organization that must be considered as self-serving and corrupt is to be in charge? How is it humanity decrees its judgments to be holy and justifiable when God’s Words say they are sinful? Society today is in complete opposition to the laws of God and refuses to do His bidding. We do not only surrender our freedoms when we adhere to its demands, but are also in jeopardy of losing our eternal souls. True courage is not that of being one that will not conform, but of resisting Satan’s evil onslaught. There is a time we should not allow ourselves to be bullied and willingly stand for our righteous beliefs. Not to do so is sin and we will be chastised for not doing so. As I write I am constantly telling myself that I need to show mercy; but when I do so, I am immediately brought to the knowledge of the total indecency of man. Sin has taken us to a place where we should not want to be but it has also robbed us of our integrity and common sense. Being somewhere that we do not want to be can be difficult, but it becomes foolish when we choose by our indifference to remain there. GLH www.myownwordz.com
