This world, though seemingly noble, has been tarnished by the corruption it has inherited from its inhabitance. The father of lies has perverted everything that is to be considered virtuous, and there exists nothing that he has not polluted. Satan has taken those things that were once considered respectable and made them a reproach. His intent is to take away all that is virtuous and leave us without hope. How do you gain from deception or how do you find true satisfaction in those things that are immoral? Living for the moment cannot give you any peace and without the [Read More…]
. True passion comes from the heart and controls and directs our thoughts, our minds. It is in control of our motives, our actions, and our intentions. The heart, in and of itself, wants to give, to share. That is how God intended; that is how He created us. It is the center of our being; it is life itself. That is what makes it so important who we have given it to. If God is in control of our heart, good will come from it. If Satan is in control, it will be filled with evil and perversion. “The [Read More…]
Men today have given their loyalty to this world and its devices. In their fervor they are incensed; they have chosen to rewrite history, to replace it with the ungodly and the profane. Seeking to pervert the truth, they consent to those things that are irreverent and indecent. In their arrogant stupor they have decided their way to be the best; they no more wish to worship or obey God in His omnificence and perfection. Denying reality and the foundation of the past, they seek to rid themselves of all things profitable and endearing. There is no true nourishment in [Read More…]

There is no joy in pretending, I no longer seek to live for the moment. Life is not a series of excursions disconnected and unfulfilled. As we walk through the valley, we gain those things that cause us true joy and fulfillment when we reach the mountaintop. To know the true magnitude of explicit joy we must first experience the absolute misery of bitter pain. To understand and appreciate the significance of ponderous wealth we must first experience the horror and negativity of adverse poverty. We live by comparisons; good or evil, rich or poor, happy or sad, without them [Read More…]
Life on earth seems so insignificant and pointless when you look at a life without end, but, when you understand that the brevity of life was created to determine the place where you will spend your eternity, its value and importance becomes of total significance. So many of us are asking all the wrong questions when those questions are not about God and His purpose for our lives. God is the giver of all things; He is the giver of all life; and He is the only one that knows how that life is to be lived. To impress man [Read More…]
As we consider abundant living, living life the way God has intended, we should become aware that God is only pleased when we are completely yielded to Him. Having it our way will never truly mix with God’s plan for our lives until they are both one in the same. Understand, it is God who determines what that way will be. God’s way for our lives is truly that place where we are the happiest and being any other place will not bring true contentment. Nature knows who God is; and, as nature is under the control of God so [Read More…]
The devil is the author of discomfort and discontent; he will cause God’s people to forget their true place and purpose. So much of God’s plan is destroyed or left undone, not by the world, but by those that claim the name of God as their redeemer and savior. Being comfortable or discontent has no real place in the life of the Christian. Gaining what we see as desirable or needed will provide no solution to our dilemma. Having it our way only causes confusion and bewilderment. True peace in life can only be obtained by complete sacrifice and surrender. [Read More…]
The intent of a loving God is to unselfishly provide for His children, even to the point of giving up everything and willingly dying for them. The devil on the other hand thinks only of himself and is willing to wreck, destroy and kill anyone that gets in his way. His passion is to see that God’s way will be destroyed, and since God loves us, he hates us and will do whatever it takes to see us condemned and sent to hell. Satan’s hatred is not with man but with God. The devil views man as insignificant and powerless, [Read More…]
