Society today makes all the rules and to question its judgment is not tolerated. How is it that an organization that must be considered as self-serving and corrupted is to be in charge? How is it humanity decrees its judgments to be holy and justifiable when God’s Words say they are sinful? Society today is in complete opposition to the laws of God and refuse to do His bidding. We do not only surrender our freedoms when we adhere to societies demands but are also in jeopardy of losing our eternal souls. True courage is not that of being one that will not conform, but of resisting Satan’s evil onslaught. There is a time we should not allow ourselves to be bullied and willingly stand for our righteous beliefs. Not to do so is sin and we will be chastised for not doing so. As I write I am constantly telling myself that I need to show mercy, but when I do so I am immediately brought to the knowledge of the total indecency of man. Sin has taken us to a place where we should not want to be but it has also robbed us of our integrity and common sense. Being somewhere that we do not want to be can be difficult but it becomes foolish when we choose by our indifference to remain there.
All people are in need of a Savior and without a complete acceptance and faith in Him, they will not enter into that place of rest and true fulfillment. Unlike many want to believe, this is not about separating the good guys from the bad guys, the rich from the poor, or the clever from the foolish, it is about being saved or being lost, it is about Heaven or Hell. The Bible states there are no good or righteous people, or to further define it, everyone is in need of the forgiveness of God for their sins, read Romans 3:23. ”As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one” (Romans 3:10-12). We were all born into sin and are therefore a product or result of sin. If we were to stop here, the position of man would be without hope or remedy, and we would all be condemned to Hell. God in His infinite love was not about to let that happen, and so He sent His only Son to earth to make restitution or payment for that sin. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement” (Romans 5:8-11) . As stated above, there is no one that is superior or without sin. We have all been placed in the same dilemma and we have all been given the same opportunity to escape its effect upon our lives. It is up to us to choose, where will you spend eternity?
