Chapter Thirty-nine: Epilogue: Comments from the Author.

At some point in my writing, I considered it would be good policy to construct an outline to express my intentions and to guide me in my writing. Being a rebel, I often take a road seldom traveled; but, by doing so, my intent is to view things from a different perspective, not to be considered defiant. I do not wish to discard the accepted rules or methods of writing, but most of what I have written is by inspiration. I am not an author, nor do I possess the skills or attitude of a writer. Chapter Thirty-eight: How to Receive Jesus Christ.

You can receive Jesus Christ right now by faith through prayer. Prayer is an expression of faith. God is not so much concerned with the words as He is with the attitude of your heart. You can know real peace in your heart and a certainty of heaven when you die. The Bible says, “Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).   Would you respond and pray this prayer? “Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need to [Read More…]

Chapter Thirty-seven: How to Have Everlasting Peace.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world the he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).   Realize that because of our sins, we have been separated from God and come short. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).   Believe that Christ died in the cross to pay the price for our sins and to purchase a place in [Read More…]

Chapter Thirty-six: God’s Commission to His Children.

We have been commissioned as Christians to carry the true Word of God to all men. What is known in the Bible as the Great Commission has been given to all who have accepted His true salvation. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28,19-20.   Our responsibility and desire should be to do what Christ has [Read More…]
