Physical sex is not a compulsory part of love or loving, God intended sex to populate the world, He said, “be fruitful and multiply” but man has made it the most important part of any relationship and not just marriage where God intended for it to be. God’s intentions are not just suggestions and when one commandment is disobeyed, others are soon to follow. It takes the physical union of a man and a woman for a new life to begin, so naturally when that union occurs life may begin, when that life is unexpected and unwanted plan B is [Read More…]
It is often said that we as individuals do not grasp the importance of sacrifice, unless we are the ones making that sacrifice. By sacrifice we are made to understand the true value of our blessings. The theory of easy come easy go only gives rise to waste and discontent. The true character of an individual can best be seen when they are forced to do without. There is nothing more revealing and endearing than seeing someone that has been devastated by this evil world thanking God for His divine providence. How can we be thankful for hardship? Knowing that [Read More…]
. True passion comes from the heart and controls and directs our thoughts, our minds. It is in control of our motives, our actions, and our intentions. The heart, in and of itself, wants to give, to share. That is how God intended; that is how He created us. It is the center of our being; it is life itself. That is what makes it so important who we have given it to. If God is in control of our heart, good will come from it. COMMENT: I have often wondered why the lifestyle of an adult should be any different than that of a child. Why is innocence considered undesirable, when by its surrender, we are made to live lives of bitterness and guilt. This evil world is out to captivate and to destroy, why should that be acceptable or permitted, or why should we justify it by simply classifying it “FOR ADULTS ONLY”?
Just a Thought …by GLH If God is in control, does true success come from the folly or deceitfulness of man? If God is not in control then where do we gain all that is considered righteous and good? If God is God, then He is the God of all. Hunger for the things of this world will only leave me discontented and evil. If I am not cleansed from the sins that condemn me; how can I ever hope to enter into His holy presence? How am I to mature or gain those things that are profitable and wise [Read More…]
The huge difference between NEED and WANT … There are many things that I want but don’t need, while there are some things that I need but don’t want. The unending struggle between my desires or wants, and those things that are essential and needed, are what make life, any life, so complex and unrelenting. Many of us are torn by not having those things that we passionately want, and willingly sacrifice our joy and our eternal existence, to possess those things that are divisive and objectionable. God has promised to meet our needs and because of His enormous love, [Read More…]
